400 Ultralight is a new generation of three-season sleeping bag for mountaineering, backpacking and camping. As insulation we used premium 870+ Fill Power goose down (confirmed by the IDFL laboratory in Switzerland). The combination of down and ultra-lightweight 10den nylon makes the sleeping bag very compact and one of the lightest in its temperature rating.

The down and fabrics are hydrophobically impregnated, so the sleeping bag stays dry for a long time even in high humidity.

A user-friendly central zipper with two sliders allows you to open the bottom of the sleeping bag for ventilation, or turn it into a blanket if it gets too hot. With the help of loops along the zip, the sleeping bag can be attached to a mat like a quilt to get more internal space.

  • Mummy sleeping bag – for maximum heat retention
  • Blanket – for warm nights
  • Quilt – to increase and adjust the internal space. Attaches with the Quilt Set.
  • Double sleeping bag – 2 Ultralight sleeping bags can be connected to each other.
  • With the help of loops along the zip and a special attachment, the sleeping bag can be used as an underquilt

  • ultra-lightweight and compact
  • warm seams guarantee stable and reliable thermal insulation
  • water-repellent down and fabric impregnation
  • a zip with two sliders allows you to open the bottom of the sleeping bag for ventilation
  • the sleeping bag can be opened completely and turned into a blanket
  • 2 sleeping bags of the Ultralight line can be connected to each other to make a double sleeping bag
  • internal zip pocket
  • anatomical and additionally insulated foot box (place for feet)
  • insulated strip along the zip protects against drafts
  • insulated collar allows you to better retain heat inside the sleeping bag
  • adjustable hood

We recommend the Neptun dry bag to protect your sleeping bag from the rain. The size L is suitable for the Rock Front 400 Ultralight.

I have not had an opportunity to test the sleeping bag yet but the thoughtfulness of the design and construction quality breeds confidence. I am extremely pleased with the shipping speed. It took only a week to deliver it to the UK from Ukraine.

I have tested this sleeping bag trekking down the Jordan Trail in dessert conditions of Wadi Rum for two weeks. Provides very comfortable sleep up to 0 degrees. At -2 I slept OK but had to put a fleece over base layer and tighten the hood so that very little of my face was exposed. It dries quick and weighs very little.

      Thanks for your review!

Overall, the sleeping bag is not bad, but this zipper is not suitable for use in sleeping bags in general. It fastens well, but bites fabric when you unzip it. You can unzip the zipper from the sleeping bag only with two hands, and you still need to find the zipper lock, in the upper position it is located together with the collar drawstrings. If you sleep in a jacket and there is little space in the sleeping bag, it will be quite problematic to unzip it, and if the zipper gets stuck on top, you will have to suffer until you open the sleeping bag. If the manufacturer wanted to get the minimum weight, they could have made a normal zipper, for example, 2/3 of the way up, and if you need a blanket, you can buy a quilt.

      Thank you for your review.
Yes, sometimes zipper getting stuck when you opening the sleeping bag. This is mainly due to the automatic zipper, which prevents unauthorized opening and blocks the reverse. This problem is especially noticeable during the first use, but later you begin to understand how this zipper works and it stops biting the fabric.
We are working on solving this problem and we are confident that the next iteration of Ultralight sleeping bags will retain all their features and become more convenient to use.

Some are just wonderful! Perfect seams, no threads sticking out anywhere! Very high level of sewing. I would like a greater variety of colors, perhaps some other design solutions.

Good day to you all! I’ve had a lot of sleeping bags, but this one is my favorite so far. pleasant to the touch, light and compact (which sometimes makes a big difference), warm – it keeps the temperature optimally and stays dry when the humidity is high! is it really made in Ukraine? it’s great! thanks!
